Educational Advisement Services

Partnership advisors are available to assist eligible CSEA-represented employees with understanding Tuition Benefits Program policies and procedures; however, please remember that the final responsibility for using these benefits within the guidelines set by the Partnership rests with the employee.

In addition to advice on using tuition benefits, Partnership advisors are available to work with you in the following areas:

  • Academic Advisement - Helps employee clarify and realize their academic and career goals.
  • Career Advisement - Assists employee in learning about themselves, job choices, and careers.
  • Financial Aid - Provides information about various financial aid programs, federal educational tax credits, and scholarship searches.
  • Adult Education Basics - Offer advice and referrals to employees who want to: improve reading, writing, and math skills; earn their high school equivalency, and improve their speaking and comprehension skills.

Support Services for Students with Disabilities

Many colleges offer assistance to students who have a physical or learning disability. You may also call the school directly to arrange services. We suggest you do this as soon as possible.
