The Partnership's Microsoft Word 2016 Basics Online Certificate Program is an exciting online learning and career development opportunity for employees who are looking to enhance their knowledge and improve their skills in the Microsoft Word application.
Employees who complete the certificate program will acquire or refresh a wide range of knowledge, skills, and abilities to improve job performance and enhance career mobility. The Microsoft Word 2016 Basics Online Certificate Program fulfills the mandatory training requirement for the Administrative Assistant Traineeship in the Computer Skills and Technology competency.
Workforce development competencies are job-based skills employees need to succeed across a wide variety of occupations. When you complete this certificate, you will have an opportunity to enhance your skills in one or more competency areas. Computer Skills and Technology
All CSEA-represented NYS employees are eligible to participate. Supervisory approval is not required for courses taken at home. It may be possible for employees to take courses during working hours with supervisory approval.
Employees can register for the Microsoft Word 2016 Basics Online Certificate Program between February 3, 2021 and February 3, 2022. Courses will be available from February 3, 2021 through February 4, 2022. All required
courses must be completed by February 4, 2022.
Participants are required to successfully complete eight courses and achieve a passing grade of 70% or higher in each course. All online learning courses will be taken through the Statewide Learning Management System (SLMS). Would you like more information about SLMS and online learning?
Participants who successfully complete the required eight courses by February 4, 2022 will be awarded a certificate for the Microsoft Word 2016 Basics Online program from the Partnership. To print your certificate, log into SLMS, go to My Learning page, locate the appropriate certificate program, and click on the Print Certificate button. Note: The Print Certificate button will only be available if the status is Completed.
